I am so excited to share this wonderful collaboration with the lovely Abi from Zac & Bel (Insta: @zac.andbel). We have teamed up to create this Pumpkin Lifecycle Set, perfect for the upcoming Autumn Season!
Each set includes: a full set of 7 Flashcards detailing the Pumpkin Lifecycle, a matching set of beautifully hand painted pebbles (7 pebs included), a cotton labelled bag to store everything in.
The Flashcard set includes 7 flashcards, each with a watercolour illustration and the lifecycle stage written out.
It includes:
- Pumpkin Lifecycle
- Seeds
- Sprout
- Vine
- Flower
- Green Pumpkin
- Pumpkin
There are then 7 beautifully hand painted pebbles to accompany and match the flashcards with the corresponding stages of the lifecycle. The pebs are all designed by Abi and she has utilised a range of pebbles to add variety and dimension to the set. It includes 2 mini pebs for the seeds, 2 small pebs for the sprout and vine, a round peb for the flower and green peb for the green pumpkin and an XL flat peb for the pumpkin.
There are so many ways this set can be used in play and learning activities:
- Talk about the pumpkin lifecycle and its various stages
- Help with learning about order and process
- Vocabulary learning
- Help with matching the pebs to the flashcards
- Reading practice using the flashcards
- Why not re-use the pumpkin peb and flashcard in pumpkin picking play? Or even Halloween?
- The yellow flower can be re-used in flower play
This set is for pre-order. All orders will be made up and posted w/c 2nd September.
Flashcards approx. dimensions: 94mm x 137mm (slightly smaller than A6).
Our flashcards are printed using FSC certified white paper and laminated to extend use. The flashcard corners are rounded for safety. We post using Royal Mail Second Class as standard. UKCA certified.
