Hands-on alphabet sensory trays designed by a qualified early childhood educator. Each individual letter tray features deep recessed grooves and gently raised numbered formation guides — so children trace the letter first, fill it with sensory materials, then trace again over the top.
A tactile, multi-sensory approach to letter formation that builds real handwriting readiness without worksheets.
This means the trays work alongside whatever phonics program your school, centre, or home is already using — not as a replacement, but as a tactile, hands-on reinforcement tool that gives children another way to practise the same sounds they're learning in class. Use them at a sensory station, during free play, or as a calm independent activity to consolidate what's being taught in structured phonics time.
The set includes 26 letter trays, all lowercase letters of the alphabet.
Colours are customisable. Please indicate preference below. You can choose a maximum of 3 different colours.
All items are printed using 3D printing and with PLA filament - an environmentally friendly material. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to small parts and parts that detach. Play should be supervised at all times.
